When training in rokushuku bojutsu (6 foot stick work) it is very important to use the legs and core of the body as one unit. The arms direct the power and aim the energy of the bo into one strong flow. Train with the Kamae and Basic bojutsu uchi waza. There is an interaction with all of them but that has to be shown face to face because words would express this incorrectly. Though the study of these old school martial arts we can learn many lessons that have been lost to time. Thank you for the question.
