When studying martial arts for self-defense, you have to understand what context you will be working. For example,: if you are working as a police officer, or your in the military your way of moving and thinking is different and your goals sometimes the same. What if you just want to keep, healthy and safe that is a new set of goals. When training think about the context in which you are working, this can go a long way to helping you increase your focus on what you need to know from martial arts and get the most out of your personal training.
