The Boston Martial Arts Center was founded to study and understand martial arts for self-defense and to try and grasp the deep and full meaning of what it is to be a complete human. This can be accomplished by studying the old martial arts styles and applying them to real world problems that we encounter every day. This process has helped me understand that martial arts is more than just kicking, cutting and grabbing. For me, studying martial arts is about facing real day-to-day life problems.
