There many ways to train in self defense, but one of the most important things to keep in mind is how are we going to bring the self-defense skills into our everyday lives without punching and kicking, locking up, etc. I find training in taijutsu (unarmed fighting for self defense) lets me refine my everyday body movement and keeps my outlook on life bright.
