Martial Arts is a very personal path. Each person come to martial arts with different needs. But everyone starts with the basics. These basics help set the framework for the training at Boston Martial Arts Center. Without this framework the student will have a weak foundation of skills for martial arts. One of the basics of martial arts is a shift in thinking. This shift in thinking is something that is found in the process of hard training. So study hard be consistent with you training with us and grow to achieve your goals. Remember that the path is a long one that will span your whole lifetime. Start the New Year with the Kihon Ninpo Taijutsu (the basics of our martial arts system).

In self-defense we seek not to hurt. We only seek balance. You see in self-defense, it not about wining or losing it is about the ending of violence and bringing a balance and order to things. Without balance and order the universe cannot flow. This paradigm shift is very important to do when you want to grow as a person also. It is not about being soft, or ego. It is about balance.
